EJTP’s Fourth Issue is Online Now!

date limite:

We are delighted to announce that the fourth issue of the European Journal of Theatre and Performance has been published and is now available online. Please visit https://journal.eastap.com/eastap-issue-4/ to check out the result of our collaborative work on what we believe has turned into a comprehensive new issue of almost 700 hundred pages!

This special-issue’s Essays section focuses on state-of-the-art research on activism and spectatorship through exhilarating contemporary and historical case studies from Brazil, Turkey, France, Italy, Germany, and the UK. The Artist in Focus section visually honours the work of Phia Ménard and Compagnie Non Nova who were EASTAP’s Associate Artist in 2021. From the Archives presents a selection of rare archival resources  that give a glimpse into the emergence of contemporary dance in Yugoslavia through the oeuvre of the pioneering female dancer Dalija Aćin (formerly Danilović). The issue finishes with Book Reviews of exciting new publications between 2020 and 2022.

You can download the entire issue or separate sections according to your preferences. Members of EASTAP can access the content without any additional fees.

Working on this issue has been a collective adventure and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful people engaged in this inspiring, yet challenging process. We hope readers will enjoy the result of our concerted effort.

Last but not least, we want to remind you of our latest Call for Contributions for our upcoming, fifth issue: https://journal.eastap.com/2022/07/14/call-for-paper-issue-5/. Deadline for submissions is 1 August 2022.
